Half a car payment before sunrise
I got up at 4 this morning to finish up a project for a client. It’s now 6:24 a.m., and I have a teleconference in 6 minutes. The reason I’m scrambling is that I didn’t do enough writing this weekend — I was off my schedule. And last night I chose to meet a friend for coffee instead of working late.
Right now I need to accept the fact that I need to work 7 days a week for a while. I need to market my services, land the work, do the work, revise the work and always be working with people on new work. This keeps one very busy. If I work 8-10 hours a day during the week and at least 4-6 hours each weekend day, I should be able to cover everything.
Err. Let’s hope. That’s about all I can do while I keep training for the half marathon in January and keep trying to see actual people outside my little office.
Yesterday was insane as well. I actually had a cupcake meltdown. Luckily my coffee date came to my rescue with a giant cookies-and-cream concoction.
(Thanks, D.J.)

My choice of cupcake for you seemed to be a good one under the circumstances. You are most welcome
