I just got this email in reference to the client who told me I was “back on track.”

Dear Beth:

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I think there
was a miscommunication between Bob and I . I Thought he had responded to you.

Thank you for the information you have emailed. However we have
decided to go a different route. At this time We will not be needing your services. Thank you for your effort. If
our needs change we will contact you.

That, of course, brings me down to 1 of 3 successes from this post. I’m actually pretty stunned, since I talked to “Bob” yesterday, and he said he was happy.

May I have a glass of confidence, please? Shaken, not stirred.
