Avenue Z is rebuilding after a horrible accident
Wordpress suspended my account. Support hasn’t written back to me, but I was digging around, and it looks like I wasn’t supposed to link back to my professional site. Ergh.
I’m reposting everything here. Your comments are gone, though.
Sigh.

Oh wow… so sorry to hear that!
And whaaaaat? Wordpress penalized you for linking? That seems petty, like being kicked out of your apartment because you weren’t supposed to use the kitchen as an office.

hi! I’m so sorry! I’m glad you are not just starting fresh but continuing to build, yes? I really enjoy your blog and appreciate you re-posting - as resource to all of your loyal readers.
Keep it up! Thanks, “C”

Oh no! Well, I just commented the other day, so I’ll just tell you again:
Re. whether your posts are too “personal” as opposed to “professional,” I said that the bottom line job of writers is to keep readers reading. And I spent at least an hour reading your posts!
I’m a writer too, and felt a little jealous! (JK)
Good job on the blog. I’m going to try to read it everyday. I love it!

Oh, I just thought of this! Did you save the comment from that famous guy???

Carolyn,
Sigh. Seth Godin’s comments are gone. I plan to invite him back soon. Keep your fingers crossed.
And, by the way, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the site. I visited yours, and I love the group posting that your team does. Your blog gives the writing life from various perspectives, and that makes it thrice as cool.
Gordon, it’s wacky about Wordpress, I know. And when I looked up what I could do about a suspension, they said
You will not get your content back
You will not get your name back
You have no excuse for not knowing because you should have read the terms and conditions.
THANK GOODNESS I created my own domain instead of just using the default one. That’s the only way I could get my material back.
C,
I had to call my mom to tell her I have “loyal readers.” That’s so cool. Thanks!

That sucks. I would recommend Blogger. That’s what I use. I would also HIGHLY recommend owning your own domain. I do. http://www.AnotherDayintheDarkParade.net is mine, all mine, and I would not have it any other way. Only $10 a year, too.
