My live is certainly not miserable. Beth is a writer and I can be happy for her while she goes down that road. I am involved in the process of the book on a daily basis so I get the initial first hand look.

I keep myself well occupied with my work and my training.

My stroll down Ave. Z has plenty of rollling hills.

All seriousness aside, I both applaud and envy you — I never was too good at planning. Where were you when I was doing my MJ thesis, which was mostly sending out questionnaires and tabulating results, when the nearest thing we had to computers were abaci.
