I am sorry things are not going well at home. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that you need to take of yourself so that you can continue to be helpful to others.

The one thing you forgot: Don’t be afraid to ask for help. We can’t always do everything by ourselves. Even if it is just asking for someone to listen while you sound off. It’s often times the help of others that gets us through the roughest periods of our lives.

Hunker down, think clearly, consider all your options, don’t get tunnel vision, take care of yourself, remember to breathe.

Just do your best. That is all you or anyone can do.

It may seem trite, but as my grandma used to say, “This too shall pass.”
