Personalizing a first draft
Lately I’ve been trying to do more to personalize the drafts and documents I send my clients. Here’s my very first screencast of how I grab colors (with the free tool from Nattyware called Pixie) from a client’s website to use in his documents. I just talked through how I do it while I showed it on the screen.
This whole screencast thing is so exciting! Go ahead… press play! (Ok, the truth is I couldn’t make the embedded video work exactly right, so the play takes you to a link where the actual video resides. But it’s way cool.)
Come on — it’s only 1:21 minutes long.

Totally cool! I can’t wait to apply this when my Word for Word website is up!
