I wonder what Dr. Jacque Lambiase's response to your situation might be. She teaches a course in Ethics, Law and Diversity in Public Relations and has a background in public relations, which is, to me, what copywriting falls under. I believe you can be ethical in copywriting. I also believe there's a difference between putting a shine on something and withholding crucial information. I am curious as to what others think. So perhaps I'd be well suited to a journalist job. But copywriting, to me, is more enjoyable. Journalism scares me!
