A real April Fool
I am completely furious with myself. It’s April 1, and my Staples Reward Check expired YESTERDAY! I had earned $16+ spending money with their dang online store, overpurchasing office supplies like nobody’s business.
And then I MISSED THE DEADLINE to get some savings back!
I kept thinking about what I was going to buy because I really didn’t need any more office supplies. I have six rolls of packing tape, a whole box of recycled envelopes, two reams of recycled paper and several ink cartridges. These are just a FEW of my recycled paper steno pads.
About the ink, I kind of live in fear that I will run out because now I’m a part of that Ink Drop system where you just send empty cartridges and they automatically send you new ones. But that means that I won’t be able to use their dang coupons, which they send me almost every week!
Argh. I have an office supply addiction, and I need help.

Office supplies are more than costly. Don’t buy into the hype.
An explanation in space occupation is certainly needed on Ave.Z. Don’t waste valuable space in your office, which you have to pay for, storing office supplies that you will not need for a year or two. Let Office Depot store it for you. Buy only what you need, and let the coupons expire, you will get new ones next week that will still be good.
The reason they want you to use the coupon in the first place is for you to come in and purchase, or place an online order, for more office supplies that you certainly do not need.
I have an office supply company right around the corner from my office. I stop in every once in a while and pick up only what I need, then leave. I am sure there is an office supply place very close to the headquarters of Ave.Z. Cruise over there, pick up some paper only when you run out. You certainly do not need 1000 paper clips, 200 triple tab folders, 500 extremely large envelopes, or 12 boxes of #2 Berol pencils cloging up your supply/storage closet.
Enjoy.
