Valentine Computer MouseHappy Valentine’s Day! I thought I’d celebrate with a list of my top ten technology tools and sites.

  1. Pelotonics: A group collaboration site where I keep track of projects, impress clients and track my hours.
  2. Address Grabber: A little program that lets me quickly capture contacts into my database (like for people who say “add me to your newsletter”)
  3. Pandora: Custom online radio stations built around an artist, style or song. You name it! Great for writing and working.
  4. Elance: Freelance graphic design and more site. It’s where I found my website designers and the group who migrated my blog.
  5. GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar: For $99 a month, you can have online meetings, share desktops, do webinars for up to 1000 people… Amazing tool. I use it all the time to collaborate with clients about projects.
  6. Microsoft Templates and Clipart: You wouldn’t believe all the free stuff Microsoft gives away for its Office applications. Don’t build what already exists!
  7. Constant Contact: My email tool, which allows me to build eNewsletters, maintain mailing lists, track email effectiveness and more.
  8. SurveyMonkey: An online survey tool with a free level that I find quite useful. I construct surveys, collect results and track responses online.
  9. Mozy: An online backup site that allows me to sleep at night for $4.99 a month!
  10. Google Analytics: The world’s best free web traffic stats.
