Ho hum teaching day
So the “tough guy” class today was a complete non-event. I came; I taught; I left. No big deal. No one threw anything, insulted me or even gave me a bad evaluation. In fact, I received all 4s and 5s out of a scale of 1-5 (but I HATE getting 4s!).
The company’s IT person was in the class as well, and she assured me that she knew everything I was going to teach, but she ended up giving me a great review and saying she actually learned some things she could use. That was cool.
The coordinator for the classes asked if she could lure me back for more special situations, and I am still not sure I want to do this again. But it sure was fun.

Okay this is totally inappropriate on a business blog, but you look great! Don’t sue me for sexual harassment.:)

Hi Beth,
I came back! Since my mortgage company has been doing so well (hard to believe from what you might hear in the news about our industry) I’ve shelved my business coaching for now, but I can’t resist giving out advice…especially when it’s not asked for:-)
This is a HUGE niche opportunity if you want to do it more often. I considered teaching these Outlook classes myself, and may still do some.
If you targeted professionals such as real estate agents, mortgage professionals, sales reps, etc. I really think you could make a great side income from it.
Title the class something like “There ARE enough hours in the day. Using Outlook to be more productive without really working”. Or, “Seven things you need to know about Outlook to double your sales, and take more time off”. Well…you get the point…you’re the copywriter!
Charge $49 per person for a two-hour course, get 10 people to sign up for the class. Do two per month.
By the way…real estate agents, sales reps, etc. NEED copywriters too…hmmmhhh…prospects who pay you to audition.
Sorry for the long post…saw the topic and couldn’t resist…I think there is a big demand for this course.

Wendy, it’s official. You have made my day, my week, my month and perhaps my year. Where should I send the fruit basket?
John, great points, and welcome back! Glad you’re busy.

Wendy,
I agree, she does look great. Even stunning. Sexual harassment will not be reported, but it will be graded.
The stroll down Ave. Z keeps on getting better.
