Thanks so much for the comments. My adorable kitty actually did end up sharing the contents of her stomach during the webinar. She was courteous, though, and threw up quietly on my down comforter in the bedroom. It’s nice to have such a thoughtful office mate.

The webinar was a success! 50 people showed up, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. My biggest mistake was not turning on the recording at the very beginning, but I only lost a few minutes of the presentation.

Whew! I’m ready for the next challenge.

82 minutes before kickoff. I’ve got my second double Americano. I’m about to give my kitty some catnip to keep her stoned for the event so she doesn’t try to chime in. I’ve got a sign for my front door, “Shhh… teleconference in progress.” I’ve prepared the post-conference email with a link to the PowerPoint handout. I’ve cleared my desk so I can put my new phone on speaker right in front of me. I’ve warmed my home with the burners on the stove so my teeth don’t chatter during the presentation. I’ve rewritten the PowerPoint to let people know there’s no moderator.

Any other suggestions? Oh, yeah. And I’m trying to remember to breathe.
