10 things I’d outsource this very second
Housekeeping
My house is a mess, and I have zero time to clean right now with back-to-back web conferences, revisions and new projects. Ugh!- Project Organization
It would be so nice if someone could grab the little pieces and parts I need to write my next project into one folder. Sometimes I’m daunted because I have to go here and there to get everything together. - Coffee Delivery
I’m on my second double Americano. Yep, it’s bad. - Running and Training
I need to do five miles today — can someone cover that for me? - Schedule Organization
I need someone to write back to people and schedule meetings. I’m having trouble scheduling meetings between my meetings. - Accounting and Invoicing
Holy smokes! Three people in the last week have said, “Hey — did I pay you yet?” How am I supposed to know? I can’t get to the post office or the bank. I’m so bad at this… and it’s tax season! - Hair Coloring/Unwanted Hair Removal/Callus Control
Can I hire someone to come and take care of my personal beauty needs while I keep working? - Car Maintenance
The “check engine” light is on in my car. I haven’t found a mechanic much less made an appointment. - Complaining
I have to call and yell at the bank and the gym. I need a real tough broad to pretend to be me. - Website Updating/Caricature Project Managing
I need to add testimonials and update samples for my website. I also decided to get a cartoon/caricature drawn that I can use in my marketing and on my site. Help!

As of 1/1 I finally did outsource #6 this year. Don’t do as I did and talk about it for years before finally doing it. My bookkeeper now handles all my invoicing, corporate tax payments (not tax prep), and tracks ALL of my corporate finances within an online version of Quickbooks. She’ll even deposit my checks at the bank! My attempts at bookkeeping are actually embarrassing. Why did I wait so long????? But I still need help with the other 9!

Its a good thing that there was only 10 on the list, or I may have been on it.
Hmmm, I dont think I have ever been outsourced before. How would that work? Do I get to choose? Do I get outsourced 100%? What does that entail. This is a crazy notion.

Mickie, I consider you a mentor in this area. 2008 is definitely the year of the bookkeeper/accountant for Avenue Z.
D.J., I can assure you that I’d never outsource my job as your girlfriend, no matter how tough things get.
