Carnival Roundup
Life on Avenue Z has been featured in a number of blog carnivals lately. Here’s a few:
- What’s in a Name was featured on the Wordpreneur Carnival
- On Doing What You Love for a Living was posted on the Personal Development and Happiness Carnival
- The Carnival of Cities picked the post about the San Diego wildfires as the featured post
- The Festival of Frugality included the post on Favorite Freebies from the World’s Cheapest Copywriter
Submitting to blog carnivals is easy. Go to Blog Carnival and find one that pertains to a recent post. Then fill out the form and submit. So far I have been accepted for most if not all carnivals. It’s a great way to increase traffic to your blog and to find another audience.

Wow, I’ve never heard of blog carnivals before, but after reading this I read a few and submitted to a few… one question I have is: how do you know if you are included? Do you get an email, or do you just have to check back to the site?
Thanks for the continuing tips!

Sarah,
Some of the carnival folks get back to me with news that I’m in, and others I discover by accident. I can usually tell when something’s been placed because I’ll start getting clicks from that website.
Congrats on your recent submissions. With your thoughtful comments, I know you’ll get quite a lot of play.
